Tablet Press Refurbishing

At C&C, we have been refurbishing tablet presses for over 20 years.

When we refurbish a press in our facility, we completely tear down the machine, inspecting all parts and working with the customer to determine their tolerance needs (OEM or otherwise). Then we sandblast and paint the machine with a selection of durable paints applied in our full size paint booth. Finally, we reassemble the machine with newly fabricated components, or at your request, cost saving used components. Options such as nickel plating, stainless steel enclosures, air operated clutches, and tablet counters are available to update your press to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

How to interpret the condition and status of a press

Operational: Before delivery this machine will run. Poor: This machine may run but will cause tooling wear. Fair: Depending on the quality and speed of the product to be produced. Good: This machine is within a reasonable tolerance and should perform well. Excellent: This machine is close to new condition. As is where is: Machine may or may not run or include all parts. Parts mach: Machine cannot run in its current condition and is probably best used for parts. As is will include all parts: Machine has been at least partially disassembled. Before shipment all parts will be included to make the machine complete. Partial refurbish: Machine is almost completely refurbished. Ready for turret: Machine is in need of a turret to match customer needs. Refurbished: Machine has been torn down, all parts inspected, repainted. Ready to ship: Machine's viability has been verified at our facility. As is operational: Machine is presumed viable. Needs refurbished: Machine is not for sale in this condition.
